Breast Augmentation: Breast Augmentation, one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures, is to enhance the size and shape of a woman's breasts. Saline-filled or silicone-gel-filled implants are surgically inserted through the inframammary incision (below the breast), the periareolar incision (along the nipple) or the transaxillary incision (in the armpit). The implants are placed either below the chest muscle or between the chest muscle and the breast tissue. The procedure takes 2 to 5 hours and can be done on an outpatient basis or with hospital under local anesthesia with sedation.
Tummy Tuck / Abdominoplasty: Abdominoplasty or Tummy Tuck cosmetic surgical procedure can dramatically reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen by removing excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen, and tightening the muscles of the abdominal wall. However, the procedure leaves a permanent scar, which can extend from hip to hip, depending on the extent of the problem to be treated. Depending on the extent of the surgery, abdominoplasty can take 1 to 5 hours.
Liposculpture: Liposculpture is an advanced form of liposuction offering a minimally invasive procedure to remove excess body fat. The predefined areas are filled with tumescent fluid which also provides anesthesia. Then, the fat is suctioned out using long thin rods. This entire procedure is done through tiny skin punctures using smaller instruments. There are no stitches, and minimal bruising and scars. Liposculpture is not painful and many patients are able to return to work or normal activities the following day. The procedure can take between thirty minutes to four hours depending on the amount of fat removed. Various types of anesthesia can be employed to best suits your specific situation.
QuickLift: The minimally invasive QuickLift is a modified version of the traditional S-Lift procedure. It tightens skin in the lower portion of the face and the upper neck with a quicker recovery and immediate results. The procedure is suitable for men and women between the ages of 40 and 65+. The QuickLift is an outpatient procedure that takes between 60 and 90 minutes to perform. It can produce a significant age-diminishing effect (5 or more years) for patient’s appearance.
Facelift or rhytidectomy: It corrects the changes of natural process of aging using surgical means. Facial skin can sag and wrinkle due to lifelong effects of gravity, weight loss, or smoking. The best candidates for this surgery are non-smokers, with no skin cancers or excessive sun exposure, normal body weight, and prominent facial bones. Facelift removes excess fat and make the facial skin and supporting tissues tighter. It is an outpatient procedure and can "turn back the clock" from 5-10 years. Under anesthesia, an incision is made which curves from within the hair of the forehead down in front of each ear and back into the hairline on the back of the head.
Eyelid Surgery: Eyelid surgery, also know as blepharoplasty, removes excess skin, fat or muscle from upper and lower eyelids to correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes. Blepharoplasty is ideal for both men and women who are physically healthy, psychologically stable, and have realistic expectations. Healing is gradual and your scars may remain slightly pink for six months or more after surgery. The procedure can be in conjunction with other facial surgery procedures such as a facelift or browlift.
Browlift Surgery: The muscles and tissues are removed or altered to smooth the forehead, raise the upper eyelids, and minimize frown lines resulting in a younger, more rested look. In a forehead lift, the conventional surgical method, in which the incision is hidden just behind the hairline; or an endoscope, a viewing instrument that allows the procedure to be performed with minimal incisions is used. This procedure is suitable for people who have developed furrows or frown lines due to stress or muscle activity.
Ear surgery: Also known as otoplasty, is done to improve the shape, position or proportion of the ear, or correct a defect in the ear structure. The operation is performed mainly on children between the ages of 4 and 14, although some older patients elect to have the procedure. In one technique, a small incision is made behind the ears to reshape the cartilage. Non-removable stitches are then used to help maintain the new shape. In another technique, the skin is removed and stitches are used to fold the cartilage back on itself without removing cartilage. Ear surgery usually takes about two to three hours under local or general anesthesia. There is less risk of complications when the surgery is done by a qualified and experienced surgeon.
Nose / Rhinoplasty: Nose is the most prominent facial feature, second only to eyes - its shape and size forms the most defining characteristic of facial appearance. Nose surgery or rhinoplasty can improve appearance and self-confidence by changing size and shape, repair damage caused by an injury, or make breathing easier.
Rhinoplasty is usually done as an outpatient procedure and can be under general or local anesthesia. Before and after photos of patients with similar noses can help explaining the probable outcome of your procedure.
Some patients elect to have additional facial procedures to enhance the effects of nose surgery. Many patients elect to have chin or cheek implants to enhance and balance their facial features.
Botox Injections: Botox is used to treat various problems including eye deviation, eyelid spasm and facial spasms. It relaxes muscle areas where there is too much tension and is used to treat for crow’s feet, frown lines, and to eliminate furrows in the forehead. Botox has been shown to be very successful and results are fully evident within one week after treatment. It is ideal to repeat the injections every three months. Botox injection is performed in the doctor's office, usually without anesthesia with numbing cream applied to the treatment area.
Chin Augmentation: Chin augmentation using surgical implants can help balance your facial bone structure and give you a more attractive profile. Weak chin imbalances facial proportions and can make normal nose appear larger. In a minor chin augmentation, an implant is placed under the skin to enhance your appearance. More dramatic correction requires bone surgery called an osteotomy. Chin reduction is a less common procedure in which the chin bone is cut or ground down. Chin augmentation is a relatively easy operation and produces noticeable changes in the silhouette of the face. There is some discomfort and soreness associated with this procedure and a liquid diet may be prescribed for the first two days.
Male Breast Reduction / Enhancement: Men or boys with enlarged breasts experience pain, embarrassment and insecurity. Suction is used to treat enlarged breasts to give you a normal-sized chest. Male breast enhancement can create a strong male chest without the need for endless work-outs. Cosmetic breasts procedure can greatly improve body image and self-esteem for many men. Patients are first encouraged to try weight loss, diet, lifestyle changes and stop use of drugs such as anabolic steroids to ensure that all possible solutions have been considered before surgery option.
Vaginoplasty Rejuvenation & Tightening: Vaginal muscles tend to get weak and loose when the vagina becomes stretched from aging and child birth Vaginoplasty or rejuvenation of the vagina is performed to tighten and restore the vagina and supporting structures to a “young” and "pre-pregnancy" state. The result is an immediate decrease in the size of vaginal muscles. The vaginoplasty surgery results in more friction during sexual experiences that increases sexual gratification for both women and men! Anyone in average physical condition or good health can be a candidate for this procedure.
